Current Make-Up Favourites

Updated: Apr 14, 2020

I'm pretty basic when it comes to make up products and I don't own a huge amount of products. I have my favourites and tend to stick with them. These are items I repurchase because I know they work and give me the results I want- so let's get straight into it!

- Too Faced Born This Way Concealer

This concealer is great! It blends beautifully, you don't need a lot of product and the shade 'Cookie' is my perfect colour match. Although it gives you full coverage, this concealer gives you a natural, non-cakey finish because it is super hydrating. A little goes a long way and for the price tag, I think it's a pretty good deal.

- Fenty Beauty Pro Filtr Soft Matte Longwear Foundation

I don't wear foundation often (pure laziness on my part, I prefer using concealer) but when I do, I always reach for my Fenty foundation. I've probably tried most of the popular foundations but Fenty's shade range is probably among the best on the market. I have yellow undertones and struggled to find the shade for my skin tone until I got my hands on Fenty! Mixed in with a little bit of primer, it gives you a beautiful glow which lasts all day.

- Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'n Kohl Eye Pencil

This is my go to, holy grail, absolute favourite eyeliner pencil. Although it is soft, it doesn't smudge and literally stays on all day- you really can't go wrong with it.

- Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner

I keep it simple when it comes to liquid eyeliner, I started using this particular one probably when I was a teenager and have kept repurchasing it since. It has a hard felt tip, great staying power and the colour is inky and dramatic.

- Mac Mehr Lipstick

This shade, a beautiful pinky nude, is so flattering and goes with pretty much any outfit! The formula is gorgeous, plush and long lasting. It's a great every day lipstick as it is muted and I always keep a spare in my handbag.

- Mac Blusher in Peachy Keen

What I love about this blusher is that there is very little product fallout, if any at all. A little goes a long way, the shade is a very natural, subtle blush with a slight shimmer (perfect for anyone like me where you want a hint of colour without looking like you're wearing too much make-up) and even if you apply too much, you can easily blend it out with your fingers or a make-up sponge.

- Mac Mineralise Skin Finish Highlighter

The shade 'Global Glow' is perfection. When I first applied it I thought that it might be too glittery but I was so wrong! It's suited for tanned/deeper skin tones and gives you a subtle but noticeable sheen. The product itself is very creamy and blends into the skin seamlessly.

And those are my staple, every day make up products I've been loving for a while. All the items are linked so you can check them out yourselves!

I hope you enjoyed this post :-)
